Black Ops Valdez is the only operation of its kind. We specialize in the true Alaska ALL INCLUSIVE Heli Skiing Experience! From the moment you get to Valdez until you leave, you will experience the best of Alaska.
Black Ops Valdez has a team of highly skilled and trained Valdez heli-ski guide veterans, many of which have guided here for over a decade....or two. We operate Airbus/Eurocopter A-Star B-Series 350/H-125 aircraft and have 16 maximum clients at any one time, or four groups of four, each with a guide. This ensures that your experience is a personal one and eliminates waiting for the helicopter between runs.
We offer flight time, Hobbs time, packages only. Hobbs time is kept by a meter on the dash of the aircraft and turns anytime the pilot pulls pitch on the main rotor blades...this basically happens when the aircraft is flown in sustained level flight (to and from the skiing) anytime the aircraft is flown up in elevation (flying from the pickup to the top of the next run), or stabilizing the aircraft on a tricky landing. In the field, you pay to fly up, what you want to ski down.

Lodge Packages
With Black Ops Valdez, not only will you get a first class skiing and snowboarding experience, you will also get to stay in the finest Alaskan Style lodging that Valdez has to offer. Robe Lake Lodge is a true Alaskan style log lodge overlooking Robe Lake complete with hot tub, sauna, high speed internet, satellite TV, and all the comforts of home. You will feel relaxed in our comfortable beds, lounging on the sofa, or soaking in the panoramic views.
Heli-skiing clients will also enjoy gourmet dinners including steak and fresh local seafood prepared by our private chef.
We also have a massage therapist who is available upon request.
Robe Lake Lodge is unlike any other place you can stay in Valdez. Prince William Sound and downtown Valdez are minutes away in one direction and Legendary Thompson Pass, home to the best skiing and snowboarding terrain in the world, is only minutes in the other.
Offering 2 double rooms and 4 single rooms, our Lodge is ideal for 6-10 person private heli groups, but works great for other size groups as well. Check out robelakelodge.com for more info on the lodge!
Our lodge property also has 5 Private cabins. Depending on the dynamic of your group and other guests during your stay, you may be staying in any one of our cabins or the main lodge.
